Officially, I am retiring from my retirement job. No more climbing on RV roofs and crawling under the Rv's to spot problems - unless someone needs help. No hands on working on problems but there to help and advise as needed. I will continue teaching classes and evaluating upgrades but now at no charge - ever.

The business remains open and now offers free advise, free use of an incredible array of tools, free access to tech manuals/ information library, free help with trouble shooting, free evaluations of upgrades, free RV maintenance classes, and free technical classes on electrical, a/c systems, and AC/DC system basics.

WHY? -

I believe, as a Christian, that I should help others in any way I can. Many devote their lives to this Christian value. They say they are called to dedicate their lives to service in the name of our savior Jesus Christ. I am not sure exactly how I was called, but I was. The following is a true story from about 42 years ago that I remember in detail and will never forget.

This is the first publishing of that story which I call - 1 chance in 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 - ie a miracle or - The story of a reluctant, but good samaritan.

This story is true. It happened about 42 years ago. I calculated this approximate timeframe by noting that I am 15 years older than my sister. She was with my family on a summer vacation trip before her junior year in high school.

I began planning this trip mid-winter after I had seen a TV documentary on Chaco Canyon, New Mexico. This isolated destination is now called Chaco Culture National Historic Park. The documentary stated the ruins there consisted of several large buildings. One of these was an apartment type complex. This building was the largest building in the world at the time it was in use. The documentary also showed remains of roads leading away from the complex in several directions many miles even into central Mexico. Also several out buildings were built on roads layed out by astrological events. WOW! - I had to go see it. Of coarse this was only one day off of a longer trip to Utah, Arizona, and Disneyland. ( story continues next post )
