Words Mean Different Things To Different People

A "business-like" trip from Angel Fire, New Mexico to Lafayette, Indiana and five days mostly "hoteled" up in greater Lafayette, now behind us, my navigator and I waited in a very nice customer lounge contemplating why we were waiting so long. The suspension conversion stalled out searching for the correct color wire on the Ford chassis under the dash where the Ford/Tiffin interface occurs. I am almost glad this happened because I ( my impatience ) went out on the floor ( after normal work hours ) and was able to see the entire installation with the motorhome up on the lift and I actually helped ( a small suggestion ) identify the elusive proper wire. The first wire selected by color code proved incorrect. Later, "we" ( mostly LiquidSpring personnel who stayed late on a holiday weekend Friday ) found a different color wire labeled ignition. That solved the puzzle and finally the install was completed. Shortly after a trial run and money exchanged for services and equipment rendered, we were on the road again to a RV park in Illinois. We were late but fortunately the extra hour of time change from Eastern to Central time zone saved the day.
As the first two hours of the trip rolled by we traveled on a "rough in spots" Interstate and a rougher in spots back road. My wife and navigator kept looking at me and I at her, our mouths wide open. My wife noted how much quieter it was and how much less vibrations she felt. To say we were amazed is a massive understatement.
Words are important here. My word for the original Ford suspension was " HARSH". Combining the ride experience with my impressions of the equipment quality, the overall installation, the plant QA and testing procedures, and the unique design of the LiquidSpring Smart Suspension, my word was "BEAUTIFUL". Understand this is from a retired industrial engineer and they say "beauty is in the eyes of the beholder". My eyes ( and the rest of my body ) saw a suspension system with four "BEAUTIFUL" components. Number one - a compressible liquid ( silicone gel based ) as a hydraulic fluid which is about 6% compressible ( NOT HARSH). Number two- A smart electronic microprocessor to control flow in the hydraulic system, which uses five sensors to smartly optimize the suspension for the best possible control, handling, comfort, and safety, along with three control options and four height options at rest and very slow speeds. Number three- the new 4Corner design to provide maximum comfort to the two most important people, the pilot and the navigator. Number four- A product designed and manufactured under superior quality control and testing procedures. "BEAUTIFUL".
That is all for now but this evaluation will continue with updates for several years to thoroughly evaluate long run quality, reliability, and a complete cost/benefit analysis.
